If you are asking about how to leave the British armed forces, please copy and paste the following questions into an email and provides answers for each:

  • Are you in the Army / Navy or Marines / RAF?
  • What was the date you enlisted (this is the day you swore the oath, usually at the recruitment office)?
  • What was the date you first turned up for work/training?
  • How old were you when you enlisted?
  • How old are you now?
  • Have you ever been in the same branch of the armed forces before and then re-enlisted? (e.g. if you're trying to leave the army, have you been in the army before?)  If so, please give details.
  • Why do you want to leave? (It helps to know why you want to leave but if you'd rather not say, just ignore this question)
