What kind of accommodation would I live in in the army? Print E-mail

You should expect to live in shared rooms initially unless you have a family. Historically, nearly half of all single living accommodation in the armed forces is of the lowest grade - soldiers have usually complained about it. However, the government has been investing billions of pounds to upgrade accommodation and in recent years soldiers have become more satisfied with what they are offered. In 2012, just over half of soldiers said they were satisfied with their accommodation; 29% were dissatisfied.
