The RAF has a 'zero tolerance' policy on bullying and most recruits are not bullies. Even so, in 2008 an RAF survey found that about 1 in 17 recruits (6%) said they'd been bullied in the previous 12 months, so bullying is a risk. [Source: Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey, 2008]
