References to 'high levels of bullying' are misleading Print E-mail

Comment: Two people have pointed out that the reference to 'high levels of bullying' in the armed forces is misleading.

Response: Agreed, this reference has been removed. The current entry on bullying now reads (for the army): 'The army has a "zero tolerance" policy on bullying and most recruits are not bullies. Even so, in 2006 an army survey found that about 1 in 13 recruits (8%) said they'd been bullied in the previous 12 months, so bullying is a risk. [Source: Army Continuous Attitude Survey, 2006].
